The size of your housing depends on several variables including the kinds of components you choose, the power options you need, and the UL rating you require. Housings include UL Type 1, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, stainless steel, extra-large GracePort+ options, and hazardous location housings.
One of the most common housings we ship is the H-size GracePort housing; a line of housings designed specifically as “thru-door” interfaces. The H-size housing features UL Type 1, 4, 4X, & 12 variations to meet your precise application.
GracePorts are intended to be mounted on the outside of an enclosure product. Installation should be performed by a qualified technician and adhere to applicable regulatory codes. These devices are for mounting on the flat surface of enclosures having the same type of environmental ratings.
The H-size of GracePort housings can be ordered in four different UL types (1, 4, 4X, & 12) to match the respective rating of the equipment it is to be installed on. The H-size housing was a customer drive design we made to accommodate panels with limited spacing or customers who only needed a very minimal amount of GracePort components or power options.
