A Legacy of Grace: In Loving Memory of Jane Allen

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Jane Allen. Jane was the wife of Phil Allen (Founder & Chairman of the Board), mother of Drew Allen (President & CEO) and Bekah Allen, and ‘Nana’ to Sam Allen and Oliver Allen. She was the heart of the Grace family, and her legacy will continue through us.

Jane's life was a beacon of strength, love, and inspiration. She fought her battle with ovarian cancer with the same grace and tenacity that she brought to every aspect of her life. Throughout her twelve-year journey, Jane never let her illness define her. Instead, she lived with a spirit that encouraged and uplifted everyone around her. She was a conqueror, facing each challenge with fierce determination and an unwavering will to live life to its fullest.

Jane will be remembered in the countless moments of joy she brought to others, from her grand kiddos she adored to the Grace staff who became like family. She made 'best friends' wherever she went, and her presence was a constant source of laughter and warmth.

Jane’s kindness touched the lives of many, both within and outside the walls of the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Phil has expressed his profound gratitude to the exceptional medical team that supported Jane and their family through this journey. Their dedication and empathy have provided immense comfort and will always be cherished.

As we extend our deepest condolences to Phil and the entire Allen family, we also celebrate Jane's impactful life. Her departure leaves a void in our hearts, but we take solace in knowing that she is at peace and in the presence of God. We will honor Jane's memory by continuing to support each other with the same compassion she showed to all.

• Jane Allen’s Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, February 16 at 2:00 pm (CST) at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3775 Middle Rd, Bettendorf, IA 52722.
• Following the Celebration of Life, the Party & Visitation will begin at 3:30 pm (CST) at Grace Technologies, 1515 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807.
• Our office will be closing at 1:00 pm (CST) on Friday, February 16.

In place of flowers and gifts, the Allen family would like to support the Believe in the Cure Fund at Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
