The Door-Mounted Absence of Voltage Module is a combination of two independently wired UL 61010 listed devices housed in an environmentally rated housing. This device allows qualified electrical workers to verify absence of voltage with the use of an adequately rated portable test instrument from outside the door. The high impedance design restricts the max fault current between phase-phase to a maximum of 2.71mA at 480Volts. Ability to verify both presence and absence of voltage.
Features & Benefits:
- An integrated module with two independent devices hardwired directly to both Line and Load side of a circuit breaker or disconnect switch.
- Allows to verify the complete deenergized state of the panel from outside the door.
- Ability to verify both line and load side of voltage.
- Allows for phase rotation check from outside the door with handheld phase rotation meters after any major repair or equipment overhaul.
- Allows for easy retraining of your electrical workers
- Custom face plate option colors to distinguish Line and Load side.
Applications:
- Enables a qualified electrical worker to perform the same live-dead-live test as outlined in Article 120.5 (7) of NFPA 70E, 2018 and OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.333(b)(2)(iv)(B) for absence of voltage test.
- Self-powered device without the need for a battery or auxiliary power
- Rated for use on both CAT III & CAT IV environments
- UL Recognized to Type 4, 4X and 12
