Q: What is the difference between the R-1VL003 and R-1VH003 Voltage Indicators?
A: The only difference between the two units is that the flash rate is optimized for the respective voltages. The R-1VL003 is optimized for 2-15kV and the R-1VH003 is optimized for 15-43kV. Alerting workers to voltage requires the voltage indicator to flash at least once every 3 seconds (20 per minute). If you use the high voltage unit on a lower voltage system, that number could increase to say once every 5 seconds.
