GracePESDs® - Benefits Beyond Compliance Video

GracePESDs offer electrical safety solutions to improve safety and productivity in your electrical safety program. Our Voltage Indicator PESDs assist in verifying presence of energy. In this video, Chris Schneck, EMEA Business Development Coordinator, showcases our standard , fiber optic, CAT III & IV rated, and Flex-Mount voltage indicators.

Voltage Portals offer presence of voltage verification for task qualified workers using an Non-Contact Voltage Detector (NCVD) pen. For Absence of Voltage Testing, the Voltage Test Station and Safe-Test Point™ provide qualified personnel using a multimeter the ability to safely perform an Absence of Voltage Test safely by using high impedance test points.

Voltage Indicator Permanent Electrical Safety Devices (PESDs) are self-powered, UL listed, and permanently installed devices that visually represent the presence of voltage with flashing or non-flashing, redundant LED lights. Typically hardwired to the load side of an electrical feeder or a disconnect switch, voltage indicators illuminate whenever hazardous voltage is present in any individual phase.

Voltage Indicators greatly assist task qualified personnel with enhanced productivity and reduced risk while performing mechanical LOTO tasks by verifying energy presence.

The R-3W Series Voltage Indicators with either flashing or non-flashing LEDs visually represent the presence of voltage. Following facility safety procedures, insert the insulated meter probes with .080” tips into any two test point jacks to take a voltage reading with properly rated test equipment. R-3W Series Voltage Indicators are suitable for both AC and DC applications from 40-600VAC and 30-1000VDC is a one-size-fits-all solution that detects 3-phase AC/DC voltage from 40-600VAC or 30-1000VDC.

The VTS combines our Safe-Test Point with a voltage indicator conveniently placed within a protective housing. The VTS test point jacks allow measurement of AC/DC voltages either phase to phase or phase to ground. The VTS can be hardwired directly to energy sources and allows for visual verification of de-energized voltage; and measurement of AC/DC voltage either phase-to-phase or phase-to-ground through a meter test. The two devices are independently connected to the same source providing a redundancy check for additional safety.
