Q: Is there a Voltage Indicator for above 2kV?

A: We do have our R-1V series of Medium Voltage Indicators for applications exceeding 2000V. The R-1VL003 is for 2kV to 15kV while the R-1VH003 is used for 15kV to 43kV. The difference between the two units is that the flash rate is optimized over the range shown. They are sold in three packs, each unit is mounted by bolting directly to the phase it is monitoring and do not require grounding as they are capacitively coupled to ground.

It is not advised to use the R-1VL at 1.5kV or similar and because it cannot be guaranteed that the flash rate or intensity of the indicator will be enough to be used safely.
