      Q: What is the difference between the R-3MT and R-3MT-1K Safe-Test Points?

      A: The difference between the two versions of the Safe-Test Point™ is that the R-3MT-1K is designed for use on higher voltage systems (up to 1000VAC/VDC). Furthermore, the R-3MT-1K has additional UL certifications for Type 4, 4X, 12 & 13 while the standard R-3MT is rated for UL Type 12 & 13 only.
