Hot Spot Monitor Demonstration

Grace's Industry Strategy Director, Shelly DeGrate, demonstrates the benefits of Continuous Thermal Monitoring using the GraceSense Hot Spot Monitor (HSM).

The HSM is a non-conductive, continuous temperature monitoring and alarming device that identifies potential hot spots and enables users to predict failures in electrical equipment. Intended for locations that are difficult and hazardous to access, the patented fiber optic technology provides consistent temperature data from up to 9 or 18 independent sources (based on the model selected).

The non-conductive fiber optical probes can be mounted onto busbars, splices, disconnects, cable connections, or any resistive heat source. The HSM identifies faults before they occur, saving money by preventing unplanned downtime, service interruptions, and equipment failures.
