Q: What would a typical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure include with the Voltage Test Station?
A: With the Safe Test Point, you would follow your normal NFPA 70E Article 120.1 Establishing an Electrically Safe Work Condition steps. The R-3MT allows you to carry out steps 1-7 from NFPA 70E 120.5 the same as normal, but it make two steps safer, simpler, and faster.
For Step 3, you are able to use the Voltage Indicator as a visual stuck blade indicator. For Step 7, you are able to use your portable test instrument to test phase to phase and phase to ground from outside the enclosure.
