Q: What voltage indicator will work for above 750 VAC?
A: Grace currently does not have a solution for the 750VAC to 2000 (2k) VAC range.
Some customers have decided to use a voltage divider circuit to step down the voltage. This is not advised for two reasons: the divider circuit used to step down the voltage may fail and there could be a hazardous level of voltage present on the system and the indicator would not be on. The R-3W Series of voltage indicators has a lower voltage threshold of 40V. So if the system has 50V on the main line, the divider may step it down to a level that will not fully illuminate the indicator.
