Tesla vs. Toyota

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving last week! I was fortunate enough to travel to Santa Fe to celebrate with my family. While I was there, Tesla revealed their newest car, as well as a 500 mile range, self-driving, electric semi truck. Since I've been making the long road trip to New Mexico every year for Christmas with my dog, I have longed for self-driving, autopilot technology, so this stuff gets me pretty excited.

The Tesla Roadster is the fastest electric car to ever be made available to the public. That top slot was held for many years by the million-dollar Bugatti supercar. Followers of Elon Musk lost their minds when he initially tweeted, “0 to 100 km/h in 1.9 sec.” That was all, and he later followed with, “Should clarify that this is the base model performance,” he tweeted two days later. “There will be a special option package that takes it to the next level.”a3ar6o7rlzyz.jpg
While comparing to the fastest car in the world may look impressive on paper, statistics can, however be misleading... Let's take a closer look at some of the more important numbers to consider when purchasing a new vehicle:
