Fun With Relatives
Happy HumpDay, Evereyone! And Happy December, too! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break! It is planning time here at Grace Engineered Products and with that and the holidays, December has a tendency to fly by, so I better cut right to the chase. I came across this hilarious video over the Thanksgiving weekend, so I thought I would share.
Here is the set up: A mom decided to play a little joke on her animal-loving daughter. The mom asked the daughter to pull the stuffing our of the turkey, which you will see her doing. After about 50 seconds of some family chit-chat, the animal-loving daughter discovers something strange inside the cooked bird. She is mortified when she pulls something out of the Thanksgiving turkey…
Now, I don’t know what is more funny – the woman who thinks a pregnant turkey got baked or how hysterical everyone else is. For me it’s a tie. I feel bad for the daughter because obviously she is a sweet soul who just loves animals, but, in the words of my southern-born husband:
Goooolllyy, is right! She fell for it hook, line and sinker! I guess the actual event took place last year on Thanksgiving, but only went viral this year. I will say that I hesitated a little bit in sharing this because I don’t want it to come across like we are laughing AT her, but WITH her and her family. I tried to discover if there were any news reports on this story (you know they track down persons in viral videos from time to time) with the hopes to confirm she agreed it was all in good fun, but I wasn’t able to find any evidence either way. I’m sharing it today because the YouTube video is still up and the name on the account is the mother, who videoed the event. Also, they have opted for advertisements on their video, so I’m concluding all is good.
Planning at Grace
As I mentioned, it is planning time here at Grace. In addition to our giveaway this week, I am offering up two $25 Visa Gift Cards this week. One will be randomly included into two of the giveaways this week, which means if you fill out this survey you have a chance to win one! This survey should take about 3-4 minutes and the info we get from it will greatly help us in Marketing. I try to always have the giveaways be “pure” in that we don’t ask for anything in return, but this week I’m breaking that rule. I hope you don’t mind giving us a few minutes of your time by taking this survey.
Thank you in advance and I hope you all have a wonderful day!
A Side Note
If this is your first time receiving HumpDay and you attended Automation Fair last month, let me be the first to say WELCOME! This is a weekly blog we put on where we typically share electrical safety news in addition to a little humor and some kind of giveaway. If you are new to HumpDay, please feel free to use the comment section to say hello! If you are an old-timer when it comes to HumpDay, please comment and say hey to the newbies!
